ECB approved a € 68 billion liquidity support for Greek banks

The European Central Bank today approved a € 68 billion emergency liquidity support for Greek banks.

The ECB has already raised emergency liquidity facility for about 65 billion last Thursday, but the central bank of the country demanded an increase of 10 billion new. Aid comes amid negotiations between the European lenders and Greece on the bailout of the country by tomorrow expected new talks on an extension up to six months, although Germany does not agree and said that Greece must comply with the agreements.

Greek Finance Minister Yannis Varoufakis, said he hopes the Eurozone finance ministers to approve the proposal.
