Global stock market mixed after Dow jump

On Wednesday, US stocks scored their first consecutive gains based on the new giant stimulus deal. Dow Jones rose 2.4%, while the S&P 500 added 1.2%.

Japan’s Nikkei 225 index lost 4% in the morning trade, while Hong Kong’s Hang Seng lost 1%. Australia’s ASX 200 rose 3.2%.

Futures on the S & P 500 was different on Thursday morning in Asia trading 0.2% lower.
