Nestle buys Zenpep – part of Allergan

In an effort to expand its medical nutrition division, Nestle intends to acquire Allergan’s Zenpep division, whose 2018 sales totaled $ 237 million.

The new product that Nestle will create is to help people who can’t digest food well because of poor pancreatic activity that produces enough enzymes to break down fats, proteins and carbohydrates.

Nestle shares are up 0.5% since the opening of the European session.
