Still no agreement on the Greek debt to the Eurogroup and the new Greek government

Greece failed to reach agreement with the European Union today said Jeroen Diyzelbom, noting that negotiations will continue on Monday.

“We discussed the possibility of an extension, for some it is the preferred option, but came to the conclusion that we will need more time to look at options,” he told reporters in Brussels.

Greek Finance Minister Yannis Varoufakis, who is expected to announce a review of the current program for the salvation of the country, did not comment on whether there is a result, only adding that negotiations will continue on Monday.

The meeting comes after several weeks of noisy as the new Greek government is in power in the country. Program to rescue the country is dominated by numerous discussions between Greece and the so-called Troika composed of the European Commission, European Central Bank and the International Monetary Fund.
