Where we are right now in the market:

The fear and greed indicator shows that we are starting to enter “greed,” which is not the best sign.

Goldman Sachs sentiment on U.S. stocks:

This is the highest level since February 2018, after which there was a two-week drop from 2872 to 2532, or 12%. The consumer confidence survey showed the percentage of participants expecting stocks to rise in the coming year.

This looks quite risky.

AAII sentiment survey:

Sentiment declined last week, and the next issue will be released on Thursday. In any case, it is not at a particularly high level.

VIX index:

It is at a low level, but still not in “complacency” territory.

Overall, this is really an “all about choice” situation. I understand the concerns, and some of the memes driving the markets are absurd, but they are mainly confined to cryptocurrencies, which, in my opinion, are following their own course after a long pause and long-term consolidation.
